关键协议(The Proposition)

中文译名叫做《关键协议》，Nick Cave既不是导演，也不是演员，但他既是配乐人，也是创作者与编剧（有如Bono与《百万美圆酒店》的关系）。据说，它讲的是19世纪80年代在澳洲蛮荒之地一个家族冲突的故事，看故事梗概，很像是西部片，但音乐，却不像。



Nick Cave找来的配乐合作者是长期的合作伙伴、澳洲传奇纯器乐乐队Dirty Three领袖、小提琴手Warren Ellis，他们合作的这张原声唱片音乐是如此的荒凉肃杀，远甚于Nick Cave以往的作品。悲鸣的小提琴、稀落的钢琴构成了音乐的基调，Nick Cave偶尔更加沉重的悲鸣，以及大量声音实验使它更接近Dirty Three的乐风，而一两处激烈的噪音，让人想起Nick Cave早年Birthday Party时的狂暴。
