secrets of the moon就像一座被拨快的时钟，当还蛰伏于地下世界的时候他便有了两张令一些大牌乐队汗颜的专辑《Stronghold Of The Inviolables 》与《De Musica Mundana》，独特的旋律加上浓烈的原始气息，像一朵幽谷里的兰花，默默的吸取着天地的精华吐露着迷人的芬芳。而当他们逐渐展露头脚时，更是玩起了先锋黑色金属，以至于初听《carved in stigmata wounds》是还以为错放了nocte obducta的新专辑。这是张三部曲启示录式的作品，与malus有异曲同工之处，只不过，malus是针对独立的个体而secrets o the moon是以人类的整体命运作为出发点，由于德语的关系还不得知碑文般的命题下流动的是怎样的思想，但仅从结尾“dust”的名字看来也必定是一部悲观的作品。整张专辑注入了太多的元素，解构了所有经典黑金属段落，像搭积木似的将riff排列，堆积，抽出，推倒，四处充斥着epic，dark wave，doom，thrash，depressive的影子，但又那么模糊不清，像独自面对的未来，可以缤纷的憧憬但遥不可及。听完这张作品如同欣赏了一幅超现实的绘画，更多的是概念上的东西，这也好像也是黑金属发展的一种潮流吧。
