电视原声 - The Pacific(太平洋战争)

《The Pacific》原声由Hans Zimmer,Geoff Zanelli, Blake Neely 共同创作。



这部由HBO投资、汤姆·汉克斯和史蒂芬·斯皮尔伯格共同打造的所谓「二战史诗巨作」近日正式对外公布。这将是《兄弟连》（Band of Brothers）以来最大规模的战争类型电视剧（电视迷你剧）。



据有关报道，该剧总投资达到2亿美元。即便《魔戒》三部曲电影，也只花了不到3亿美元。如果报道属实，《太平洋战争》将成为电视史上投资最大的电视节目（短期内应该「后无来者」）。



《太平洋战争》主要根据《With the Old Breed》、《Helmet for My Pillow》这两本书提供的素材及一些访谈录改编。故事从三个不同角度，讲述了三名美国海军陆战队士兵－－Robert Leckie（James Badge Dale扮演）、Eugene Sledge（Joe Mazzello扮演）、John Basilone（Jon Seda）－－在太平洋战场上的遭遇。



剧中描述的主要战役包括：1942年8月－1943年2月发生的瓜达尔卡纳尔岛战役；1943年11月－1944年3月发生的布干维尔岛战役，特别是1943年11月格洛斯特角登陆战及热带丛林战役；1944年发生的贝里琉岛争夺战；1945年2月16日－3月26日发生的硫磺岛战役；1945年4月1日－6月21日发生的冲绳岛战役。
