Truth About Men

“The Truth About Men”是Byrd在RCA的第三张专辑，同时也是他自1993年在MCA出版的首张专辑以来的第十三张。当Tracy现场表演“The Truth About Men这首歌曲的时候，男人和女人们都在一起随着他哼唱，看上去并没有什么性别上的不同。这张专辑已经成为一张很热门的唱片。Andy Griggs、Blake Shelton以及Montgomery Gentry也参与了录音。除了这首歌以外，还有其他一些歌曲也很有意思。Tracy指的是“Drinking Bone”、“How'd I Wind Up In Jamaica'、'Baby Put Your Clothes On'和热闹的现场版本'Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo',这个在El Paso演出的版本证明了他又一次回到了歌迷心中的最佳位置。Byrd自己也非常喜欢“The Truth About Men”专辑中的那些歌曲的表现形式。最热门的作曲Casey Beathard（他是Kenny Chesney的《No Shoes,No Shirt,No Problems》专辑、Gary Allan的'Right Where I Need To Be'的制作人）提供了四首曲子包括'Where You go'以及与人合作的'Ten Rounds'。Paul Overstreet曾为Randy Travis提供了歌曲'Forever And Ever, Amen'、'Diggin' Up Bones'等歌曲，他和Tim Johnson与Rory Lee合作了“The Truth About Men”，“Baby Put Your Clothes On”也由Overstreet和另一个乡村音乐名人堂成员Bill Anderson 和歌曲作者及制作人Buddy Cannon合作谱写。“Tiny Town”是一首关于小城市的成长故事的歌曲，由Keith Stegall所作。Keith是Tracy的第一张专辑的制作人，不过他最出名的身份是Alan Jackson的制作人。
