Dr Feelgood是一支成立于1971年中旬的英国酒吧摇滚乐队。是70年代中期为数不多的几个在唱片销量上获得适度成功的英国地下摇滚乐队之一。乐队每年都有很多的演出，在驾驭摇滚的背后，他们也奉献蓝调和R ＆ B，因此乐队也赢得了许多忠实的歌迷。1974年Dr Feelgood发行乐队的首张专辑'Down by the Jetty',1976年乐队推出了现场专辑 'Stupidity'，在英国取得了巨大的成功。1980年Mayo离开了乐队，取而代之的是吉他手Johnny，1982年John Martin 和 John Sparks叶离开了乐队。1994年乐队歌手 Lee Brilleaux's untimely 不幸病逝，同在那年发行了他在乐队的最后一张专辑:'Down At The Doctors'。他们录制了第一张唱片《被障碍物绊倒)(DownAYtheJetty)。一年以后唱片《恶行)(Malpractice)也跟着发行了。一张在绍森德市和谢菲尔德市实况演出的唱片<愚蠢》(Stupidity)在1976年间获得排行榜冠军。1977年3月，在录制他们的第四张唱片期间约翰逊突然离去，故而从那时到1981年间由约翰·梅奥(JohnMayo)顶替他，“兴奋剂”乐队录制出七张好坏不一的唱片。录制在唱片《个人习惯) (Priv~ePractice，1978)上的歌曲《牛奶与酒精》　　(Milk kandAlcoh01)成为排行榜十佳金曲之一。唱片《让它滚动)(Let／cRoll，1979)由迈克·弗农(MikeVernon)任制作人，唱片<震动事故)(A Caseo／the Shakes，1980)由尼克，制NiekLowe)制作。1981年梅奥离开乐队，一年以后斯帕克斯和马丁离去。80年代中期“兴奋剂”仍尚在，但阵容已大有变化，他们仍在继续发扬70年代地下摇滚乐的精神。该乐队的重要作用在于帮着为1976--1978年的朋克革命铺平道路：像“碰撞”、“振动器”(TheVibrators)、“切尔西”(Chelsea)和“新兴城市老鼠”这些乐队在很大程度上要归功于“兴奋剂”乐队醉酒一般的沙哑声音和对现行音乐趋势的全然不顾。
