1TYM是Y.G公司推出的第二个歌手组合，1TYM的含义是1TimeforYourMind。如果说这个HIPHOP组合和其他的组合有什么不同的话，那就是他们每个成员都有着自己非凡的实力。在经过2年多时间的准备，1TYM于1998年在MBC电视台第一次和观众见面。在1TYM出道之初就人气十足，甚至在组合的名称没有定好之前，就已经出现了他们的歌迷会。
