孙耀威近年来主攻影视圈，2007年终于回归乐坛，并挟着“爱的故事”的延续篇“思前恋后”，推出新曲加精选大碟《So Far So...Close》。90年代以“爱的故事上集、下集”一跃成为校园情歌王子的孙耀威，曾凭歌唱事业走红中港台各地。2006年，复出中国香港乐坛的孙耀威率先与车婉婉合唱一曲“再见亦是恋人”并收录于《Perfect Match》合辑内。2007年，这位情歌王子以“思前恋后”打响头炮，并正式重返乐坛！



　　《So Far So...Close》新歌 + 经典精选双CD是继2002年新曲加精选国语大碟《失去》之后首张全新广东专辑。大家除了在Disc#2可重拾“爱的故事上、下集”及“我知道他在我”等10首旧作外，更可在 Disc#1听到他10首最新情歌，包括∶“思前恋后”、“自爱”、“恋爱宣言”和“爱他因为爱你”等。
