西方乐坛上已经不只存在一个叫做James Morrison的艺人了，此James Morrison非彼James Morrison，既不是The Doors乐队的主唱也不是澳大利亚的那个爵士乐手，音乐风格上也与他们大相径庭，他是英国今年新出现的一位新人，被很多人认为是当今英国乐坛最有潜力的创作型男歌手之一，今年刚刚21岁。



出生于英国中部城市Rugby的James Morrison虽然只有21岁，但他的声音听上去却显得十分老成，平滑中带有一丝嘶哑，天生一副唱Soul的嗓子。他的第一支单曲You Give Me Something已经发行，最好成绩排在UK Top 40的第5位，并且赢得了好评。
