Kingdom Come

在引退三年后，Jay-Z的第十一张专辑终于发行了。尽管早些时候就传出Jay-Z会复出，但当这一刻真的到来时，总会觉得很矛盾，一方面一个大腕的回归可喜可贺，一方面又怕会演变成一出滥俗的肥皂剧。



这张Kingdom Come最起码可以听出的确是Jay-Z唱的(不是废话)，风格依然延续了他The Black Album专辑，就连制作人都没有换：Just Blaze, Kanye West, Dr Dre, the Neptunes，但单单少了Eminem，也使专辑少了点“杀气”。在合作歌手中依然是众星云集，反正你能想到的：Pharrell，Beyonce，Ne-Yo等等甚至Coldplay的主唱Chris Martin都应邀出席，不知道Jay-Z是卖专辑还是卖人情，当然做为他的歌迷这些招数都应该熟于心中了。在歌曲方面，上到布什的新政，卡特里那飓风，下到好莱坞那些陈芝麻烂谷子事，都被他一一炒遍，当然这张专辑最主要的还是庆祝他回归，要“适当”的释怀一下。在30 Something，Jay-Z发表了在这行十年感言，而在Kingdom Come里，Jay-Z毫不谦虚把自己定为了“行业标准”，他说到“When Kingdom Come, You ready?The King will Come, I'm ready”，还“I'm CEO and yeah goin' God”，一副君临天下的姿态。值得一提的是最后一首和Coldplay的主唱Chris Martin合作的Beach Chair，英伦音乐与Chris Martin迷幻的声音配上Jay-Z的“说”，的确给人耳目一新的感觉。
