The Phoenix

Mastercastle成立于2008年，核心成员是吉他手Pier Gonella（绝对是一吉他高手）和女主唱 Giorgia Gueglio，另外值得说明的是：这是一个夫妻档。



他们的音乐明显受到传统金属，新古典主义的影响，他们也将流行摇滚的特征加入其中，于是形成了自己的风格。丈夫的吉他演奏明显受到yngwie的影响，这点在专辑两首纯器乐演奏里尤为明显。妻子有力又不失流行的唱腔和丈夫能量十足的古典主义演奏碰撞出了不可思议的力量。bass手Steve Vawamas和鼓手 Alessandro Bissa （别名Bix）的称职表现为这对夫妇提供了很好的基础。
