Age of Miracles

正如其名，查克·普罗菲特像八十年代至九十年代吉他演奏的先知一样，将其超凡的创作才能与巨大的乐器演奏技巧完美的结合到了一起。



上世纪的六十年代查克·普罗菲特（Chuck Prophet）出生在南加里佛尼亚，他首次进入公众视线是出任当时佩斯利地下运动（Paisley Underground movement）倡导先锋乐团“绿中红”（Green on Red）乐队的主音吉他。在乐队1992年解散之后，查克便开始专心于他的吉他独奏音乐生涯。查克更加热爱传统的音乐风格，在他的音乐中你可以听到鲍勃· 迪伦式（Bob Dylan）的歌词，同时在吉他旋律和技巧上你又可以感觉到埃里克·克莱普顿（Eric Clapton）和凯斯·理查德（Keith Richards）这些大师的影子，而他的声音与汤姆·佩蒂（Tom Petty）又有着相似之处。由于查克精湛的吉他技艺，众多的艺人和乐队都邀请他加入其音乐制作当中，其间较为知名的有：传奇艺人Bob Neuwirth，Hubert Huncke以及著名的吉他手Calvin Russell。而与老朋友Jim Dickinson合作录制的现场专辑“A Thousand Footprints in the Sand'则获得了巨大的好评。



在1997年专辑“Homemade Blood”之中，查克再次展现了其做为一名吉他手，歌曲创作者及歌者的综合才能。而三年后出品的叫好专辑“The Hurting Business”则显现了查克依然的宝刀不老。
