电影原声 - A Home at the End of the World(天涯家园)

博比(柯林·法瑞尔饰)与乔纳森(达拉斯·罗伯茨饰)是儿时的亲密伙伴。于乔纳森而言，背离传统的博比是通往广阔天空的纽带，不可或缺的精神支柱；而对博比来说，乔纳森的家庭，特别是乔纳森的母亲艾丽斯(希茜·斯派塞克饰)那暗示着家庭温暖与和谐的亲切感，使他醺醺然般陶醉其中。



　　少年不知愁滋味的日子匆匆过去，两人也由于各自的原因分别了许久。若乾年后的纽约城，两位挚友有幸再次重逢了。他乡故知的喜悦使彼此欣喜若狂，博比随即搬到了乔纳森家中。本来是为友谊而来的博比突然发现自己竟然爱上了乔纳森的室友、性感而又举止古怪的女孩儿克莱尔(罗宾·赖特·潘饰)。友情爱情孰轻孰重，于是，他们发明了一种别具一格、绝对精神化的家庭模式，向以往的传统发起了挑战。



　　《天涯家园》包含着家庭生活类影片中爱情、责任、忠诚等可贵元素，而实际上，它更加着重借助胶片定格了一种新式家庭的倾向性，一种向传统伦理道德发难的生活模式，也是一种需要审慎定义的全新概念。



电影音乐特别找来创作才子Duncan Sheik根据故事背景，创作出5首全新作品，其中包括3首演奏曲。此外，还加入了横跨60-80年代，如Jefferson Airplane、Dusty Springfield、Patti Smith、YAZ等艺人的经典代表作。



独立型民谣歌手Duncan Sheik自1996年发表了他第一张同名专辑后，逐渐转向电影原声的歌手使他小有名气。现年33岁的他来自美国北卡罗来纳州，早年长期和祖父母住在新泽西，并在当地学习钢琴。在他的学校期间转向电吉他组乐队，自此开始了民谣写作。毕业后发表了第一张母带，从此涉足民谣运动，参加各种大型公开活动献唱。2001年发表的《Phantom Moon》中他与戏剧家兼诗人 Steve Sater合作，展示了他管弦乐的才华。2003年初他和Sater更合作了他们的音乐剧《复苏的夏天》。浓厚的吉他明快略带忧郁，声线点滴有致。
