维拉的板球技术很优秀，无人能比，却因为女孩的身份而无法大展身手。一年一度的印度、巴基斯坦年度友谊赛中印度队再度败阵，洛罕的父亲为了获胜，于是用亲情攻势将儿子拐回来担任印度队的球队教练，希望能改变印度队命运。维拉梦想加入球队，却吃了闭门羹，为了圆自己的板球梦，维拉女扮男装化名维尔混入球队。在准备比赛的过程中，维拉和洛罕成了哥们，而洛罕也慢慢爱上了他误以为是维尔姊妹的维拉…在最后的比赛当中，洛罕发现了维拉是女孩的秘密…维拉的爱情和比赛都受到了考验…
