故事的主人公是一位建筑师，工作十分繁忙，经常早出晚归熬夜加班。有一次，他为了哄自己的侄子侄女睡觉，于是讲了些小故事来催眠。结果不可思议的事情发生了，不久那些小故事就都变成真事，在他的生活中一一应验……
