太空堡垒卡拉狄加》（Battlestar Galactica）是一出在2003年12月8日于美国科幻频道（Sci Fi Channel）上开播的美国科幻迷你电视系列剧（Miniseries），与之后在2004年10月18日于英国Sky One电视频道上首播的一个系列电视系列剧。这一系列的电视系列剧其实都是以1978年时一出极受欢迎的科幻电影《太空堡垒卡拉狄加》与其之后一系列同名电视系列剧为蓝本，加以改编翻拍而成，并且成为科幻电视台有史以来最卖座的自制电视系列剧。

　　故事背景于未来世界，人类已由地球移民到其它星系居住；人们为了贪求私欲，便开始研究及制造一种拥有独立思想及感觉的机械人 - Cylons 来为人类服务。但人们怎样也想不到，这些本应是帮助人类的机械人竟会调 转头对抗自已，因此，人类与自已制造的机械人之战争便开始展开...

　　在经过数十年漫长、死伤无数的战争结朿后，人们本以为可得到和平的生活，但 Cylons 明白到即使在休战后始终没辨法与人类建立实际的外交关系，故 Cylons 开始密?#092;另一个对付人类的计划，这次它们将会制造一些与人类一模一样的机械人作间碟渗入人类世界，从而以里应外合的方法把人类消灭。
