Give in to love

Birdpaula绝对是一把非常有感动力的慑人歌声，就好像一头会唱歌小鸟一般令人陶醉。曾经在choirs主唱，也在blues clubs演唱过。 母亲是位舞台剧、电影演员，父亲是位爵士、蓝调乐手，充满艺术气质的家庭背景，Birdpaula 踏上音乐创作的路，似乎来得理所当然。年青时曾经研习声乐、结他，后来在八十年代的俱乐部驻场演唱，及跟爵士钢琴手Jeff Gardner等乐手合作，让Birdpaula 对音乐创作早已不陌生。可是，一直到了近年才让她重投音乐唱作。为她儿子的乐队Jackson and His Computer Band(Warp)的专辑献声，深深吸引了Nouvelle Vague的监制之一Marc Collin，Marc Collin其后邀请她在NV的专辑Bande A Part中演绎Pride(In The Name Of Love)一曲。 在Marc Collin监制的首张专辑中，Nouvelle Vague一派舒缓浪漫的气息，贯穿整张专辑，Birdpaula揉合蓝调、轻爵士的民谣风格，其气质让人联想起Julie Delpy，同样来得美丽清新。
