可爱小孩子Musa一直与家人住在非洲村落内，生活无忧，直至一次神秘疾病的肆虐下，令他成为孤儿。Musa只好远行至巿镇内寻找叔叔，希望能过点好日子。Musa带备仅有的粮食及父亲送给他的大鼓，孤身上路。Musa得到货车司机Nobe的热诚帮助，终于到达了约翰尼斯堡，并尝试寻找工作。可是巿内满街孤儿，根本无人愿意聘请他们，Musa命途相当坎坷。艰辛岁月还是挨得住的，Musa意识到肆虐村落的疾病正是“世纪绝症”爱滋病。稚气未过的Musa 已长大了，他自问有着非一般使命──就是重返属于自己的村落，告诉村民真相……



《总有爱鼓励》是有关一个小男孩的感动旅程，也是讲述一个全球性问题。这电影最重要的信息是“活在真相中，不要活在无知的世界里”。
