克里斯托•鲍尔索克斯（Crystal Bowersox），24岁，来自美国俄亥俄州，被大家亲切称为“水晶姐”“Mamasox”。张扬的个性，随意的街头艺人风格，嘶哑性感的声音都是她的标志。不仅能唱，她还精通各种乐器，在比赛中就同时演奏口琴和吉他。可谓多才多艺。当地时间2010年5月26日晚，她成为美国著名的歌唱选秀节目《美国偶像》第九季亚军。



参加比赛前，Crystal是一名艺人，也是个单身母亲，有过自己的单曲和EP。她患有严重的I型糖尿病，比赛期间曾病倒住院。但作为夺冠大热，也为了让自己的儿子将来过上幸福生活，毅然带病坚持比赛，一次又一次地为观众带来惊喜和感动。
