Jenny Lewis之前作为RK的主音被大家广泛的喜爱着，由于有着孩子般同成熟女性沙哑嗓音间游走的技巧，这次Rabbit Fur Coat给人以更不同的转变实际上并不应该令我们吃惊。



这张专辑巧妙的融合了福音，乡村，民谣等多种感觉在里头，乍一听一定是无法定义，尽管Jenny总让人想起RK时候的她：The Charging Sky里的破音，Rise Up With Fists里的节奏，Rabbit Fur Coat里的温情；或者是一个你从不认识的Jenny：Happy里的轻柔，Melt Your Heart里的成熟，Hnadle With Care里的动感（好象是和Death Cab For Cutie的主唱合唱的）...



之前你可能不会觉得Jenny是十分有才的，因为她只是表现她或可爱或深沉的一面，但听过Rabbit Fur Coat后你会彻底改变这种看法，你会觉得她在某种程度上比的上The Arrogants的主唱Jana，有些歌听上去还同风格偏乡村的歌手Kathleen Edwards很像，尤其是在唱功上——一般Indie乐队的主唱总是被认为嗓音甜美或清澈，这张专辑中Jenny一改一贯的纯真风格，完美的展示出一张一位成熟女歌手的心血之作。
