All I Really Want for Christmas

作为5届格莱美奖，56届福音音乐协会圣鸽奖得主，歌坛巨星Steven Curtis Chapman的这张专辑（也是他第三张圣诞专辑）或许很适合成为圣诞聆听的作品。当然，更适合的也许是Shaoey（Shaohannah，也就是封面这个可爱的小女孩）稚嫩的声音。第一首就是Shaoey朗读圣经新约路加福音中第二章第七节（Luke 2:7-14），这便是圣经中记录耶稣圣诞的章节。喜欢Shaoey的同学们，最后还有Shaoey and Her Dad Wish You a Merry Christmas。



专辑包括了一些传统圣诞歌曲，如Go Tell It on the Mountain，Silver Bells，当然还有Chapman原创的歌曲。



Chapman，这位收养Shaoey的虔诚的基督教徒，在中国，Chapman夫妇还收养了Stevey Joy， 和Maria Sue，这三个孩子给Steven一家带来了无穷的欢乐和祝福，并真正地融入了家庭，成为不可缺少的一份子。不幸的是他最小的年仅5岁的Maria Sue Chunxi Chapman死于2008年的一场交通事故。他还建立了Show Hope基金（曾以Shaoey命名为Shaohannah’s Hope），为希望进行国际领养的家庭提供咨询帮助和基金支持，并为中国的孤儿呼吁。



2006年Steve曾在北京拉菲特城堡酒店举办了一次儿童希望慈善晚宴，Steven对中国和中国的孤儿有着特殊的感情，身为歌手，最大的报答方式就是和中国的人民来分享他的音乐。真正打动人的音乐是无国界的，Steven把他在生活中所经历的美好、感动和祝福化为旋律和歌声，为更多的人带来快乐和幸福。Steven Curtis Chapman也极其热心于儿童的慈善事业，他近些年来一直为了孤儿的福利事业奔走于全世界。
