Open Book

Davol于1961年出生在美国加州的好莱坞，幼年时随家移居到北科罗拉多州。接受过古典钢琴的训练，在他少年时已对电子音乐产生很大的兴趣，迷上了电子音乐，在13岁时拥有了自己的第一部电子合成器。沉迷于Vangelis、Jean-Michel Jarre、Kraftwer和Tangerine Dream的音乐中。



　　1988年，他的第一张专辑Mystic Waters由Silver Wave Records唱片公司推出，就在新世纪音乐排行榜上取得15位的好成绩，并占据排行榜长达25周。专辑的曲目被广泛应用于电视、广播、录像和多媒体中。2005年的最新专辑『A Day Like No Other』更是取得了相当了不起的成绩，荣获NAR radio station （新世纪音乐报道电台）提名几项大奖。



　　『Open Book』是他在1998年发行的第四张个人专辑，是一张富有想象力的作品，运用键盘演奏出丰富多彩的音色，旋律优雅，深得乐迷的喜爱，Amazon给出了五星推荐。
