Mike Howe是于07年刚刚加入到realmusic公司的一位新人，2008年，他的一首吉他曲Heading West（向西）收录在realmusic于当年发行的Sacred Spa Music Series 2（神圣SPA音乐系列2）系列专辑当中的首张CD－Contentment（知足常乐）。在realmusic的首页作为页面音乐呆了很长的一段时间，正是这首eading West吉他曲，也正因为Realmusic的极力推崇，使大家对Mike Howe有了初步的认识。



Mike Howe他没有经过正规的音乐学习与训练，也没有什么比较出色的特别有背景的职业，但他的音乐创作力非常惊人，他的突如其来的大量的音乐作品让大家都为之感到意外。Mike Howe的音乐比较接近于生活，这张Time Stands Still（时光永驻）是Mike Howe加入realmusic之后的第一张专辑，灵感来自大自然的威尔士国家公园，描述那里生活和工作的生态学家。敏感的声学吉他音乐，就像是一个孩子得到了他所喜欢的宠物玩具，也好像是在炎热的夏季里散步，朴实无华，给听者带来舒适与顺畅。
