A Tale of Two Cities

A Tale Of Two Cities是他们在三月份发行的专辑的名字，猜不出其中的奥妙，只是觉得和A Tale Of Two Cities有着共同点的是专辑和狄更斯的小说一样的优秀。Mr Hudson有着一大部分时间是献身于hiphop音乐，在他的眼里，他要做的是英国的那种说唱乐，那种不需要你是黑人才能做的音乐，他和Dizzle Rascal等大牌人物有着密切的合作，The Guardian则概括说，Mr Hudson是有着更好嗓音和更好音乐的Mike Skinner的哥哥，而在这个大的背景下，Mr Hudson & The Library并不是一支说唱团体，更加倾向于的节奏与布鲁斯，真的很难相信这样一支团体会是如何的节奏与布鲁斯，其实这是一张用R&B的制作模式来制作一张acoustic的另类专辑，heavy的音乐往往只是伴随的是非常acoustic的Mr Hudson的声音。他们在去年做早推出了一张EP，名叫The Bread and Roses，错过他的朋友不必担心自己错过了什么，其中的三首曲目（另外还包括Brave The Cold和Everything Happens To Me）都收入在了新的专辑中，jazzy的Everything Happens To Me中的雨声效果真的想让人快点盼望着下雨，那时就可以彻彻底底在意境中聆听这首歌曲，新发行的单曲Too Late Too Late非常遗憾地仅登上了53名，他应该得到前40名的成绩。Mr Hudson的hiphop production体现在了像Cover Girl这样的音乐制作上，而非歌曲本身，在我看来Cover Girl是一首愉快的，流行强调的音乐作品，不一样的要算是以acoustic为主的2 x 2，歌曲Ask The DJ是专辑中少数几首超越了中板的歌曲之一，最后谁都会被Ghosts中的钢琴和旋律所blow away。
