剧情介绍：



Showtime 出品的历史剧“都铎王朝”，与其说是一个显赫王朝的兴衰史，不如说是一个偏执狂和杀妻狂的罗曼史。



《时代周刊》曾刊文道：“如果16世纪有八卦小报，亨利八世一定是每期的封面人物。”诚然，这位才华横溢但私欲膨胀的英国国王，一生娶了六个妻子，在历史上曾留下无数瞩目的争议。



在前两季中，王后凯瑟琳只诞下一个女儿玛丽，苦无子嗣继位的亨利八世对其宠幸不再，转而爱上女侍官安-博林。工于心计的安不甘做地下情人，在她的诱惑下，亨利八世就罢黜凯瑟琳和认可安的身份，与罗马教廷展开了长达十年对抗。最终更不惜宣布脱离罗马教廷，自封为英国教会最高领袖。然而安也只生下了一个女儿伊丽莎白，亨利八世很快又移情别恋，以通奸罪名将安送上断头台。



上一季亨利八世先后迎娶被他称为“此生真爱”的侍女简-西摩，克里维斯的安妮以及凯瑟琳-霍华德。与此同时，王室的宗教政策在民间引发“求恩巡礼”，亨利八世下令进行血腥镇压。

第四季将是本剧的最终季，焦点仍集中在亨利八世最后两段婚姻，帅哥乔纳森将由亨利八世的中年演绎至暮年。



从首播开始，剧中便充斥着无数的缠绵悱恻的香艳镜头以及尔虞我诈的宫廷勾斗，据说，超过85%的剧情源于史书记载，证明历史老人撰下的剧本，并不逊于任何好莱坞编剧。

剧情为观众还原历史的同时，镜头下优美的爱尔兰田园风光，以及华丽奢靡的宫廷布景、服饰，亦是本片的看点之一。
