Pixie生活在埃塞克斯与她的父亲，一名股票经纪人，和她的母亲，一名家庭主妇，她有一个哥哥和姐姐。她的母亲给她的昵称小精灵，因为她是一个“微小的可爱的宝宝”。 <br /><br />
Pixie五岁就在意大利的音乐学校学习古典音乐，她走上意大利康帝戏剧艺术学院，在那里，她被授予奖学金。13岁时也有参与Pink <br />Floyd中Roger Waters的歌剧Ca Ira。在她15岁的时候就曾经获得LA Reid赏识和Island Def Jam音乐集团签下过一纸合约。2008年Pixie签给环球音乐旗下的Mercury Records，并将专辑发行权签给Sony Music。 <br /><br />
2009年6月8日，Pixie Lott发行了第一张单曲《Mama Do (Uh,Oh Uh,Oh)》，在iTunes英国单曲榜上排名第一。“Mama Do (Uh,Oh Uh,Oh)”是Pixie Lott自己的创作，这个来自英国、年仅18岁的女孩，一出道便获得极大的成功。 <br /><br />
Pixie Lott令人期待的首张个人专辑《Turn It Up》找来了Toby Gad、Red One等人合作。从出道以来，就一直有人把Pixie Lott与一些当红一线女星作比较，Lady GaGa、Britney Spears以及Christina Aguilera等等。其实在你听过这张专辑的之后就会发现，Pixie Lott绝对不会与她们之中的风格相重复。Pixie Lott 的准确说比较偏向于纯正的黑人Soul式唱腔，嗓音有些类似于流行摇滚大姐大Pink，音乐风格也多是将时下流行的元素与复古元素相结合。<br /><br />
