Ellie Goulding是BBC Sound of 2010的新星榜首. 1986年出生于英格兰Hereford的乡下地方Lyonshall,早期创作的音乐以Folk为主,之后在Frankmusik的影响下,转向 Electro-pop界发展.与其它Folk或Electro -pop歌手不同的是.她并没有舍弃Folk或完全投向Electro-pop.而是将两者结合成 Folktronica(电子民谣).这是Ellie Goulding音乐上最大的特色之一.



Ellie Goulding也是2010年The Brit Awards全英音乐奖Critics’ Choice的得主(2009的得主为Florence+the Machine).Ellie Goulding首张专辑Lights于2010年3月发行.立即空降英国专辑榜冠军!
