An Asheville-based folk-rock band led by a trio of singer-songwriters, Uncle Mountain’s sound seems designed to fill the idiosyncratic folk-rock band slot on movie soundtracks. That’s far more of a compliment than a diss; the lilting harmonies and adventurous arrangements recall accomplished, similar-minded acts like Guster and Dispatch.
