Shallow Bed

作为一支伦敦新军，能在民谣风格中玩出如此时尚的味道，实属难得。诚然，成员的打扮风格着实给人一种是不是hardcore的味道，其实不然，2011年的Weights and Measures EP让他们进入了BBC新的一年让人期待的声音，SXSW表演也有他们的戏份。很多人都期待他们会像The Vaccines一样成功，以致于一些大牌的厂牌都竞相想签入他们。最终还是财大气粗的RCA成功网络了这支极具潜力的新军。按照首脑Peter Liddle自己话来说，一支post-punk风格的乐队演绎着民谣福音式的歌曲，是不是觉得很乱？其实也没有，你会发现很多歌曲乐队都会尝试运用大气磅礴的弦乐和激进高亢的表演方式来展现出非常一般的力量，甚至有些许emo的味道。沉重的鼓点声音和喇叭声适合将整个专辑拉到高潮，渐入佳境。而美妙的小提琴元素又让专辑呈现一种完整性，使整张专辑不乏一些忧郁而又缓慢的作品。总之，这是一支出色而又让人期待的乐队。
