Hold Fast

来自Sheffield的英国4人组合在发行了首张抒情摇滚作品后，进行了人员变动，吉他手Alex Saunders的离去换来了新成员Tom Dakin，而说到专辑发行的厂牌Fierce Panda，曾几何时，都是与Ash, Supergrass，Coldplay以及Keane等大牌合作过，而如今所签约的新生代乐队显然无法达到过去的高度，不过The Crookes很显然为他们争足了一点面子，乐队属于英国清新派别，为了打破Chasing After Ghosts所带给他们的“早熟”冠名，开篇曲Afterglow即用急促的鼓声以及快速和弦声音带来了一种年轻的朝气，给人感觉就是适合疯狂的跳舞。当然George Waite温暖而又悠扬的嗓音给我感觉还是更适合演绎其独特的浪漫，相当典型的复古风味。
