身兼歌手、创作者、制作人、演员…等多重身份的Marques Houston/马可士休斯顿已经具有超过十三年的丰富娱乐圈资历！’92年，他所属的洛杉矶R&B美声三人组Immature以“Tear It Up”一曲崭露头角；’94年Immature发行首张专辑，再以全美流行/节奏蓝调榜双料Top 5金唱片单曲“Never Lie”、以及同样卖破金唱片的“Constantly”打响名号，成功在乐坛站稳一席之地，并陆续发行多张专辑，Immature后来随着年龄的增长而更名为IMX。
热爱演唱，执着於词曲创作的Marques Houston，自认在音乐上深受流行乐之王Michael Jackson以及节奏蓝调美声经典团体Boyz II Men的影响；他与Immature团员等同好组成的制作组合Platinum Status曾参与当红R&B/Hip-Hop女声团Destiny’s Child ’99年轰动大碟「The Writing’s On The Wall」的幕后制作。单飞发展后的Marques Houston成绩更加耀眼，除了参与卖座电影「You Got Served」、「Fat Albert」的拍摄，担纲主角演出的UPN电视台影集「CUTS」目前高居全美Urban电视秀第一名；2003年发行的个人专辑『MH』亦拿下Billboard节奏蓝调专辑榜No.5，2005年发行的个人专辑『Naked』空降全美节奏蓝调专辑榜Top 5。
其脍炙人口的代表歌曲有 circle 、 pop that booty 等等 拍摄的电影有街舞类《 热力四射》 《somebody help me》 等等。

A member of Immature/IMx, Marques "Batman" Houston debuted as a solo artist in 2003 with MH (Interscope). Since joining Immature as a young adolescent in the early '90s, Houston has crossed over into television as a recurring cast member of Sister Sister, and he has taken on production duties with some of his IMx mates (as Platinum Status) for B2K and Destiny's Child. Along with producing some of his own material on MH, he enlisted the services of Kowan "Q" Paul, Kenny Whitehead, and Platinum Status member Troy Taylor. Naked followed in April of 2005. During the interim, he appeared in Fat Albert, continued songwriting and production work (Omarion, N2U, O'Ryan, Young Rome), and popped up on a mix of 50 Cent's "Candy Shop." Veteran, released in 2007, marked Houston's 15th year in the music business.
