Finding much popularity in his home country, Norwegian singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Even Johansen is Magnet, who as an adolescent adopted the name after a bizarre incident that left him cured of anemia. Along with a series of EPs, Johansen's catalog includes Quiet & Still (2000), On Your Side (2003), The Tourniquet (2005), and The Simple Life (2007). Magnet's touring highlights include being a guest of Doves, Zero 7, Röyksopp, Kings of Convenience, and South.
