Like a Bird, Like a Plane

Charlie Mars生于阿肯色州(Arkansas，是美国东南７州的一个州)，与制作人Rick Beato共同担纲的钢琴加上由Beck老爹David Campbell(Aerosmith、Alanis Morrisette与Evanescence等)亲自坐镇编写的弦乐，两者相辅相成的忧郁调性，让他的作品有着特出于美国当代摇滚同侪的气味，真诚具诗意的词作在这般男声哼吟中，无论是爱或失落，皆散落一地的浪漫。

无怪乎连赞誉其作品为“Big，Beautiful Rock from Mississippi”的滚石杂志亦有感他将抢占好一部份Coldplay的乐迷。同名新专辑出版后更获得与摇滚经典乐队REM及全美冠军大团Dave Matthews Band共同巡回的殊荣。
