The song was written and produced by the same Shakira. Waka, Waka This Time for Africa is featuring by the South African group Freshyground. She will perform it at the opening concert, and it will also be the official anthem of the competition. Next Monday the song will be officially released while the download will be available at the beginning of next month. The event will take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa.
