A Different Kind of Truth是美国传奇乐队VAN HALEN十四年以来的首张正式专辑。专辑于2012年2月3日在澳大利亚地区率先发行。而全球发行的时间为2月7日。   这是乐队和Roth 在发行著名专辑1984后一起出版的第一张专辑。1984在1984年发行，次年Roth因乐队内部矛盾离队。新专辑的第一单曲《Tatoo》于1月10日星期二首发，歌曲MV也将同时发布。
