Atliens

说唱组合Outkast由出生于1975年5月27日的Dre和出生1975年2月2日的Big Boi组成。俩人的第一次见面是在亚特兰大城立高中，在他们毕业前，就已经和L.A.和Babyface的LaFace公司签定合约，并很快推出了单曲《Player's Ball》，为他们制作的是给TLC制作专辑的全部班底Organized Noise。



1996年，Outkast发行了第二张专辑《ATLiens》，Big Boi与Dre再次向世界展示出Southern Hip-Hop积蓄以久的能量。太空Funk节奏与Stone、Mandrill甚至George Clinton这些Funk大师音乐精神的充分展现，结合两人丝绸般滑溜的南方式flow，以及狡黠的歌词内容，令这张以Hip-Hop为载体的唱片达到了让人瞠目结舌的效果，不仅赢得了150万听众的支持，也令他俩走到了拓展音乐边界的Hip-Hop霸主地位。
